Vrida of Sweden started in 2017 with the idea of making it easier to move pendant lights and lampshades. The ambition has always been to create smart and stylish solutions in sustainable materials for moving pendant lights. With the extension arms from Vrida of Sweden, you can easily move the pendant lamp without making new holes in the ceiling. The extension arms are available in different lengths and designs. Made in Sweden from wood and metal, the extension arms allow you to move pendant lights and pendant lamp shades steplessly and can also be rotated 360 degrees.

We believe in Swedish quality, which is why all our production is located in Sweden. Swedish production is of the highest quality, and Vrida of Sweden’s commitment follows the extension arms’ journey throughout production. Through close contact with the craftsmen, the products can be created from idea to finished extension arm – moulded with true craftsmanship and high quality.

The extension arms for pendant lights in solid wood are made in Småland, where a groove on the top allows all wires to be hidden in the extension arm. The suspension on all extension arms is customised in Gothenburg, and other components such as cables, corrugated cardboard boxes, painting and assembly take place in Västra Götaland. Each model is manufactured with millimetre precision and high quality, with each extension arm carefully tested before delivery.

The Vrida 1 extension arm is available in four lengths for those who want to move their pendant light. The model is designed for anyone who wants to move the pendant light when the ceiling hook/socket is not in the right place. For example, when the pendant lamp isn´t centered over the table. With Vrida 1, it is also possible to temporarily rearrange the furniture when you put the extension plate in the table or just want to rearrange the furniture frequently.

The Vrida Duo & Vrida 2 extension arms are designed to allow you to hang two pendant lights from a ceiling socket/hook, for example over a dining table or kitchen island. The distance between the two pendant lights that you hang on the ceiling sockets on the extension arms can be easily adjusted whenever you want and you don’t need to have hanging wires between your two pendant lights. What sets the products apart is that on Vrida 2, you get one ceiling socket directly under your existing ceiling socket/hook and in addition you also get a new ceiling socket in the end of the extension arm that can be moved steplessly. If you want two pendant lamps on either side of the existing ceiling hook/socket, Vrida Duo is the right model, where each ceiling socket for the pendant lights can be adjusted independently of each other.

The Vrida Light extension arm is an adjustable cord set made for lamp shades or a naked light bulb. What sets Vrida Light apart from our other extension arms is that it comes with a textile cord and a E27 lamp holder where you can mount any lamp shade or just hang a bare bulb.

All extension arms for pendant lighting are designed with a focus on easy installation and no damage to the ceiling. In all models, the electrical cables can be hidden in the extension arm. Vrida extension arms are hung on the existing ceiling hook or ceiling socket. You can then adjust the extension length and rotate the arm 360°. Vrida extension arms create freedom and flexibility when the position of the pendant light no longer determines the interior design.
